Larry,

Thank you for publishing this - it is so nice (although somtimes heart-wrenching) to read about Donna. I remember the last time we all from ECS had lunch together with Donna at the BeerWorks. I was glad I got a chance to hug her one last time. XO

Sir,

I came across your journal in a roundabout way, although I believe that all our experiences are divinely inspired. Having suddenly lost the love of my life a little more than two years ago, I know the pain and anguish you're experiencing. Although it will never be the same, your life will return to some semblance of order; however, it is a slow and occasionally painful process. I have no magic words or sage advice that can change your world. Even though we each take this journey alone, I hope there is some comfort in knowing that there are other pilgrims who have made the journey before you and others who will one day follow in your footsteps. May it bring you some comfort to know you are not alone in this world. And don't worry about becoming a victim. Anyone who could compose such an eloquent celebration of selfless love between two people could never cast himself in the role.
